The Butt Tree

Blogging is new territory for me. So I feel I must explain to those of you who don't know me, what is meant by "Get To Know Me". On the surface it seems no explanation is required. Not the case here. "Get To Know Me" is said with  attitude. And if you can muster a release of air, as you say it, it can only increase your chances of making your point.

I often use this phrase when I have,  humiliated myself by getting my facts wrong, or have chosen to be selfish in a very harmless way. For instance, perhaps I have  taken more than my share of coffee. When called out by my husband, I can justify myself  with "Get To Know Me" and no other explanation or apology is needed. Of course it helps if you are saying this to someone who loves you. It doesn't hold much water with strangers because, of course, they don't know you.

So I invite you to "Get To Know Me" in the real sense as I begin this blogging journey. I love freedom of thought, speech, art, and the right to change direction at any and all times.

bWik is my artist name and I will be, from time to time, sharing my artwork and the stories behind the scenes.

South Street Interior Design is my design company and I may on occasion share this world as well, or maybe just leave it to my real life and keep this more whimsical.

Speaking of a whimsical note, I find myself taking photos a lot due to the nature of my day job. I am often prompted to take photos of odd things that I think are especially noteworthy. Henceforth The Butt Tree.  I was in a parking lot minding my own business, gabbing away on the phone,  when all of a sudden I couldn't take my eyes off this tree. Before I knew it I was taking a picture to share  with my friends. I love the unexpected gifts of nature that I occasionally come across. Get to know me-
